Sara Fontaine is a Windsor, Ontario based vocalist and music educator.

Sara obtained her classical music degree at The University Of Windsor but specializes in singing multiple genres including jazz, musical theatre, pop and folk.  

Sara began her professional career as a performer at Casino Windsor, appearing onstage in the Showtime Lounge, The Coliseum and touring with renowned Elvis impersonator, Elvis to the Max.

More recently, Sara enjoys working with her folk duo, The Fontaines, with husband Ryan,  jazz quartet, The New Standard, and is a co-founder, producer and performer with The Broadway Bunch.

Sara can be found singing at many community events and celebrations, and is a frequent soloist with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra. 

When time permits, Sara returns to her first love, musical theatre.  Favourite theatrical roles include Sarah (COMPANY, Korda), Helen (FUN HOME, Korda), The Narrator (JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, WLMT), Kathy (THE LAST FIVE YEARS, ACT) and Woman 2 (SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD).

As well as performing, Sara owns and operates her own teaching studio, Fontaine Music Education, and is a vocal educator at both Walkerville Collegiate (WCCA Program) and St Clair College (Musical Theatre Performance).

As if all of this wouldn't keep her busy enough, Sara and her husband Ryan have two daughters, Ava and Juliet. 

Sara strives to create music that is both inspiring and meaningful and to mentor the younger generation in music education and appreciation.
